Anyone over 18 years old may request a ride-along. The Salt Lake City Police Department will try to honor your request, but the date and hours will be determined by the department. Each individual will be limited to one 4-hour ride-along which will begin no earlier than 7 a.m. and shall end no later than 1 a.m. Civilian or non-sworn ride-alongs with or without a concealed carry permit may NOT be armed.
Via to Transit is a pilot, on-demand service that connects riders to and from transit and community hubs in four service areas. Anyone in the service areas can download the Via app or call to request a ride.

These ministers volunteer their time and serve as on-call Chaplains 24 hours a day to help with critical incidents across the county. They also assist patrol with ride-alongs, community events, and agency functions. This program was started by Sheriff Scott Rose.

When a rider is a no-show for one (1) trip, all subsequent trips on that day remain on the schedule unless the rider specifically cancels those trips. To avoid multiple no-shows on the same day, riders are strongly encouraged to cancel any subsequent trips they no longer need that day. 2ff7e9595c
